Using their emergency powers under the current crisis the Council are making some road closures which will affect those who live north of the A4.
Staveley Road will effectively be closed to through traffic at the junction with Park Road. In future you will have to continue along Sutton Court Road past the Railway Station and then turn right into Staveley Road and the allotment site. There are also proposals to close the roads outside of schools during the drop of and pick up periods. This will be monitored by ANPR and anyone who is not local will be fined. There have not been any consultations on these closures, but it would appear they will be implemented by July otherwise they will lose the Government money. I do not know what the drop off and pick up hours are or who is considered “local”
