Trading Hut News 15th April 2020

Today (Wednesday) was another successful trading day.

It has been decided that the Trading hut will be open again on Saturday 18th April 2020 from 1000am to 1200am.

If you decide to attend please remember to comply with social distancing. There are some 30 marked out spaces at Staveley Road Allotment site for members to queue.

There were 72 transactions last Saturday and 65 today which is one every 2  minutes, so unfortunately there can be a delay.

Please do not wait in Staveley Road itself. If the queue is to the gate come back later.

We still have plenty of brassica seedlings along with tomatoes, courgettes, squash and cucumbers etc. along with a rapidly diminishing supply of seeds. There is still manure, country natural and multi purpose compost available. We are not selling any flowers at present.

It would be useful if you made out a list of plants you were looking for, as it is taking some members a long time to rummage amongst those that we have. Remember we are planting up more seedlings on a daily basis.

Stay well

Dennis Flaherty
