Whilst Henry our chairman, showed William and his children his plot, his wife looked around our trading facilities and the greenhouses. She purchased some potatoes, seeds and plants for their London home. A trustee of the Lambeth Museum of Gardening she is an enthusiastic gardener herself.

After chatting to committee and other members of CHAS they paid their annual membership fees, and gave a donation to CHAS before leaving with their purchases.
Dennis Flaherty
I was having an elderly moment when i penned this. The setting for Downton Abbey was of course Highclere Castle – apologies
Never mind, Dennis, Chatsworth House has enjoyed its fair share of glory on the silver screen, featuring in Pride and Prejudice (2005), The Duchess (2008) – and perhaps more ‘gory’ than ‘glory’ – the horror film The Werewolf (2009).
Kind regards,
Henry
Thanks, Dennis, but you left out one crucial member of the family: their cute little dog, ‘Needles’ (also nicknamed ‘Bushy’ – the children and I practiced teaching Needles how to ‘sit’, but he seemed to prefer licking my face.
Kind regards,
Henry
