CHAS Supporting Zaytoun, Fairtrade Fortnight- 26 February 2019 at 7:15 pm

Halfway between Jerusalem and Lebanon, lies the Westbank village, Nus Ijbail, site of St George’s Spring whose cool waters have refreshed travellers for centuries. Local farmer Khader will be giving a talk at the Trading Hut, 7.15pm Tuesday 26th February, bringing to life his experiences growing olives organically and the contribution Zaytoun together with Fairtrade makes to the sustainability of his village.

The Zaytoun oil is truly the nectar of the angels and you will have the opportunity to taste it accompanied by bread from local baker Laveli. Tickets £2 on the door. Not compulsory but helpful to let me know if you are likely to be there, email rmflinders @gmail.com or sign list in the Trading Hut over the next 2 Sundays.

Members and non-members are all welcome.
