Thames Water, who are the water supplier for all our allotments sites, have announced a hosepipe ban with effect from the 24th August 2022.
The Council will still be supplying water to all sites but you can only use the standpipes by using watering cans.
Thames Water operate a register for Priority Services whereby individuals with mobility and other problems are permitted to use hosepipes despite the general ban. You will need to go to the Thames Water website and register for their Priority Services.
