Centenary dinner

The CHS Centenary Dinner took place on 13th June at Linden House, a delightful venue by the river in Chiswick Mall.

The assembled company was greeted with a glass (or 2) of prosecco on the terrace, whilst being entertained by Mathilde Pivert on the harp. This was followed by a 3 course dinner, well cooked and presented.  Jenny Jenks produced an excellent floral display for the tables and a beautiful bouquet for the Harpist.

Our Chairman,Henry Gewanter then gave a short speech on History in general and CHS in particular.

All in all-a thoroughly good evening, enjoyed by all who attended.

Did you enjoy the centenary dinner?  Let us know!  And please send us any photos you may have taken.

Our thanks are due to the Staff of Linden House for their efficiency and attention and to Fullers who kindly sponsored some of the wine.
