The Spring(ish) Quiz took place on the 28th January.It was (eventually) well attended with 7 tables of 8 contestants. There was,we were told, a rival quiz going on nearby.
The Quiz was set by Jo Hodges in absentia as she was at the time up the jungle – which was just as well, given the somewhat esoteric nature of the questions. For example, under the title ‘Shakespeare’- In what Musical would you find the song ‘Brush up your Shakespeare’?….
The food was excellent and the wine plentiful..
The usual suspects,masquerading under the title ‘Trowel and Error’ duly won and received a handshake from the Chairman(and a box of chocolates each )for their troubles.
Henry was an excellent Quizmaster (once you had got used to the accent).
