Two bits of good news this week, i received an invitation and had my second jab and when I went down to my plot at Staveley Road this morning the water had been turned on.
It has been almost five weeks since I germinated my parsnip seeds and planted them in the cardboard toilet rolls. Below you can see the roots just staring to emerge from the roll. There has not been much top growth but the roots have been motoring on. They are all nicely planted out in rows. The rest is up to mother nature.
The water is on at Duke Meadows also !!
Good on you Dennis, about a couple of weeks before my 2nd jab is due. I’m watching my parsnips very closely since we spoke the other day.
