Just returned from a holiday in Northern Spain, which included a lovely walk in the Picos de Europa. There was a surprising (to me) variety of wild flowers, given the lateness of the season (it must rain a lot here for Spain) and the rocky terrain. Some I have managed to identify (I think):
Scabious
Merendera montana
Mediterranean buckthorn
Knapweed
Dianthus monspessulanus
But these have eluded me – can anyone help?
