I’ve been alerted to this latest case of fly tipping on Chertsey Road Allotments, by the main gate.
Why would anyone think this is acceptable? Whoever it is, their tenancy is at risk, antisocial behaviour is the one thing that can end your tenancy double quick.
If you recognise this rubbish – know someone who’s just lost an old door or just harvested some rhubarb? Let me know I don’t see why we should have to put up with these selfish people.
Of course it could have been dumped by a member of the public who, looking for somewhere to fly tip found the gate unlocked – another reason to lock the gate whenever you go in or out.
Seems to be fly tipping again on Dukes Meadows site as well. Pre rain yesterday I saw 3 pallets and a bag of single use plastic bottles dumped just inside the market place gate.
Unfortunately this gate is left unlocked and open most of the time, I often find it open 8-9pm. Of course I will always lock it but have on occasion been shouted at for doing so.
