There has just been a delivery of leaf mould to Dukes Meadows Allotment Site. I know it is raining but this stuff does not last long – go fill your boots.

The new locks can be a bit sticky, hopefully they will last longer (the springs are one of the first things to break in the old style locks) and with more use they will loosen up I expect. The council asks that you don’t put oil or any other sort of lubricant in them –

Allotment members clear up outside Promenade Allotments Allotment Rep Charlie Lindsell with Sarah and Suzette, worked hard this weekend to clear rubbish from the site outside the Promenade Allotments, large logs were repurposed into a bug hotel and as you can see bags of rubbish were collected leaving the site less prone, hopefully to fly
